Abstract

Quantitative studies about linguistic aspects of Alzheimer’s disease have been more abundant when compared to studies from a qualitative viewpoint. Thus, this article propounds applying the linking algorithm shown in Role and Reference Grammar and its application to the PerLA corpus of Spanish patients with Alzheimer’s with the aim of identifying the linguistic deficits encountered in the first stage of the disease. This will allow us to show preliminary results on the application of this grammar to corpora and to prove its feasibility in a better description of Alzheimer’s disease.
