Author Biography

María Eva Piñeiro Fariña, University of Santiago de Compostela

Eva Piñeiro is a teacher of English at the Official Language School in Seville. She is currently working on her PhD dissertation at the University of Santiago de Compostela. She has presented several papers in national conferences (e.g., 43rd AEDEAN Conference, AESLA 2020-21) on language contact and the use of loanwords in the mass media of the Northeast of the United States, which is also her main line of research in her PhD dissertation.
